The Patrick Henry Caucus is founded on a belief that state legislatures need to do more than simply pass resolutions proclaiming state sovereignty.  The time has come to actively engage the federal government and reassert rights that were never intended for the federal government to have.

Our goals include a coordinated effort in passing legislation intended to be challenged in the courts and funding states’ constitutional accounts. By working together states will be able to share litigation costs and give a united front to the validity of our claims.
