The purpose of the Patrick Henry Caucus is to bring together legislators and citizens in a common goal of reestablishing the sovereignty of the states and to assert its natural place in the framework of our country to ensure that we never again have a monarch over the people such as the King of England was to the original colonies.

The Patrick Henry Caucus members pledge to uphold these principles of our Constitution and vigorously defend them against the encroachments of those who would take away our rights.

Citizens are crying out for leadership in an effort to preserve individual freedoms.  We believe this is best done at the state level.  Our strategy is simple.  We must petition our state legislators to oppose the overreach of the federal government and to uphold the Constitution.  We must tell them that we expect them to work with their fellow lawmakers to pass state legislation to accomplish this.
